Dive into Google! Brought to you by Computer Using Educators (CUE), the producers of the Google Teacher Academy, the Advanced Google Workshop for Educators (GWE) invites participants to delve into innovative ways Google tools can be used in education. A full day of fast-paced presentations and hands-on activities such as experience with managing the document inbox, sharing collections, beyond the basics in Google Docs, advanced features in Google Sites, using Forms to create rubrics, investigating scripts and creating interactive Maps. Google Certified Teachers share ways they've implemented tools such as Google Docs, Google Maps, Google Sites, and... even more. Participants who complete the event are given access to the Google Workshops for Educators Network (GWEN), an online community focused on supporting educators as they learn more about the power of Google to drive student learning. This event will feature the use of Chromebooks for all participants. This workshop is for advanced users. CUE is an official Google Professional Development partner. No meals are included.
Leverage the power and simplicity of Google Forms to take your students education to the next level. Administrators and teachers will both enjoy the amount of time you can save, data that can be collected and the ease of which you can use Google Forms in education. Leave this workshop with forms for collecting data, grading quizzes, creating discipline referrals, and flipping your classroom just to name a few. Participants must bring their own laptop.
