Not only can you create interactive multi-touch textbooks, but your students can create their own books, included embedded images, movies, audio clips, and links to the Internet. Walk away from this workshop with your freshly created books that can be shared and enjoyed on any iOS device, such as an iPod touch or iPad.

Participants need to bring the following: their own Apple laptop with a minimum of Mac OS 10.7 (Lion); iBooks Author; digital audio content, such as PowerPoint presentations, lesson notes, images, video clips, and audio clips; attendees need an iTunes account; bring a flash drive with lesson content, or have access to lesson content online (e.g. Dropbox); bring an iOS device (iPod touch, iPhone, or iPad) with a minimum of iOS 5.0.1 to preview interactive iBooks and to Interact with their finished books.
